Last updated:
If you are weighing up physiotherapy careers and want a clinic where you have time to assess properly, treat thoughtfully and keep learning, Tylurs Physiotherapy may be a good fit. We are a physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic built around one-to-one care, and that care is only as good as the people who deliver it.
This page explains what working with us is like, which roles we are always interested in, what we look for and how to get in touch. We do not list live vacancies here, so a speculative application is always welcome. If you are looking for treatment rather than a job, you can book an appointment instead.
Why build your physiotherapy career with us
At Tylurs com, we believe good patient outcomes start with clinicians who are supported, well trained and not rushed. Here is what that looks like day to day.
- Professional development. In-house training, case reviews and encouragement to develop the areas that interest you, whether that is sports rehabilitation, spinal pain, neurological rehabilitation or falls prevention.
- Mentoring. You will have an experienced colleague to turn to for clinical questions, caseload planning and career conversations, with extra support while you settle in.
- One-to-one caseloads. Patients are seen individually, so you can complete a thorough assessment, explain your findings clearly and build a rehabilitation plan together with the patient.
- An evidence-based culture. We keep our treatment in line with current research and national guidance, and we are comfortable changing our approach when the evidence changes.
- A supportive team. Complex cases are shared and discussed, not carried alone. Clinicians and the front-desk team work closely so that patients have a smooth experience from first enquiry to discharge.
You can read more about how we work on our about page and see the range of care we provide across our physiotherapy services.
Physiotherapy careers and roles we are keen to hear about
Our needs change over time, so rather than advertising fixed posts, we welcome enquiries from people in these roles at any time.
Physiotherapists at all levels
We welcome newly qualified, experienced and advanced practitioners. An interest in musculoskeletal, sports, post-operative or neurological work is useful, and we value clinicians who want to develop a special interest over time.
Sports rehabilitators
Graduate sports rehabilitators who enjoy progressive, exercise-based rehabilitation and helping people return to training and competition with confidence.
Clinic coordinators
Organised, friendly people who can manage bookings, answer enquiries and help patients feel at ease from their first phone call. Experience in healthcare administration helps, although a caring manner and attention to detail matter most.
What we look for in every applicant
Qualifications are the starting point, but they are not the whole picture. Whatever your role, we look for:
- Full registration, or eligibility to register, with the relevant regulator for your profession, where registration applies.
- Clear, kind communication, including the ability to explain a diagnosis and a plan in plain language.
- Sound clinical reasoning and the honesty to say “I’m not sure, let me check”.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and to reflecting on your own practice.
- Respect for patient confidentiality, consent and safeguarding.
- Reliability and a willingness to support colleagues when the diary gets busy.
Our physiotherapy blog gives a good sense of how we explain conditions and treatment to patients. If that style of practical, plain-English advice appeals to you, you will probably feel at home here.
How to apply
Enquiring about physiotherapy careers with us is simple, and there is no application form to fill in.
- Email hello@tyllurs.com with the subject line “Careers”.
- Attach an up-to-date CV, including your professional registration number if you have one.

If you have a question before applying, our contact page lists other ways to reach the team.
Equal opportunities
We are committed to equal opportunities and to a workplace where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified people, regardless of age, disability, sex, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
If you need a reasonable adjustment at any stage of the application or interview process, mention it in your email and we will do our best to accommodate it.
How we handle your application data
We use the information you send only to assess your application and to contact you about roles. It is seen only by the people involved in recruitment, and we do not keep it for longer than necessary. Our privacy policy explains how we store applicant information, how long we keep it and how to ask for it to be deleted.
Get to know Tylurs com before you apply
Strong applications come from people who understand what we do. Take a few minutes to browse the conditions we treat and read what patients can expect at a first physiotherapy appointment. Then send us your CV. We look forward to hearing from you.
Do you consider flexible or part-time working?
Yes. We are open to discussing part-time hours and other flexible working patterns, and we would rather find an arrangement that works than lose a good clinician over a timetable. Tell us in your cover note what you are looking for. What we can offer depends on clinic hours and caseload at the time, so we talk it through honestly at an early stage.
Do you offer student physiotherapy placements?
We are happy to hear from physiotherapy students and universities about clinical placements and observation opportunities. Whether we can offer one depends on having the capacity to supervise you well at the time. Email hello@tyllurs.com with the subject line "Careers", your university, year of study and the dates you are interested in, and we will get back to you.
Can I apply as a newly qualified physiotherapist?
Yes. We welcome applications from newly qualified physiotherapists who are registered, or eligible to register, with the relevant professional regulator. What matters most is sound clinical reasoning, a willingness to ask questions and genuine care for patients. New clinicians are supported through mentoring and regular case discussions as their confidence and caseload grow.
Is it worth applying if no vacancy is advertised?
It is. We do not always have an open position, but with your agreement we keep speculative applications on file for a limited time, as explained in our privacy policy, and get in touch if a suitable role comes up. A short, specific cover note about the kind of work you want to do helps us match you to the right opportunity.
What happens after I send my application?
We read every application and aim to reply to let you know whether we have a suitable opening. If there is a potential fit, the next step is usually an informal conversation, followed by an interview that may include a clinical case discussion. We explain each stage in advance and are happy to make any reasonable adjustments you need along the way.
